NOVO-OGARYOVO, Moscow Region, Dec 5 (PRIME) – A third gas field was launched on the Bovanenkovskoye deposit, the largest field on the Yamal Peninsula, on Wednesday.
Bovanenkovskoye’s preliminary reserve estimate stands at 4.9 trillion cubic meters. Industrial production there started in 2012.
According to presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov, a pipeline sending gas to the central part of Russia will also be launched on Wednesday.
